Description We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Columbus, Ohio. Responsibilities: • Perform detailed bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. • Manage financial transactions and reporting using Oracle ERP systems. • Support grant and funding processes, providing insights and analysis where needed. • Handle complex accounting tasks with efficiency and precision. • Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and address workload demands. • Assist in streamlining accounting processes to optimize efficiency. • Provide timely and accurate financial reports to stakeholders. • Adapt quickly to new systems and procedures to meet project requirements. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience with a focus on detail-oriented work. • Proficiency in using Oracle ERP or similar accounting software. • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. • Ability to handle complex financial tasks independently. • Experience with bank reconciliations and general ledger processes. • Familiarity with grant and funding management is a plus. • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team. • Ability to adapt quickly and work efficiently in a contract-based role.
