Job Title: Accountant
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis, contributing to the successful financial operations of our office.

ResponsibilitiesPost all required journal entries in Great Plains (GP) software.Reconcile balance sheet accounts using Blackline, including bank reconciliations.Inform Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) staff of any posting errors and assist in corrections during bank reconciliation procedures.Prepare monthly close deliverables according to corporate timelines and review results with the Controller.Collaborate with the General Manager and operations team to support timely closing and comprehension of financial results.Prepare financial analyses for presentations on monthly results.Lead and manage audit requests for the semi-annual audit.Handle all income tax requests for annual income tax preparation and filing.Prepare monthly CAPEX information and related analyses according to corporate timelines.Support sales and fuel tax audit requests.Address ad hoc requests from management as needed.Essential Skills3+ years of accounting experience.Proficiency in accounts receivable, collection, accounting, invoicing, and data entry.Strong reporting skills, particularly using Microsoft Excel.Experience with financial reporting and reconciliation processes.Knowledge of balance sheet management.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Great Plains ERP is a plus.B2B accounting experience, especially with high volume clients, is preferred.SAP ERP experience is acceptable.Motivation to grow and develop in a growing office environment.Industry experience in manufacturing, retail, or medical accounts receivable is potentially transferrable.Work Environment

This position is based in our newly renovated office space, offering a dynamic and supportive work environment. The standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with flexibility as needed. Our office is expanding, with current plans to double the number of employees in the next 2-4 years, providing ample opportunities for growth.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
