Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with a strong command of general ledger accounting, debits and credits, and journal entry management. This role will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy of financial data through the preparation, analysis, and reconciliation of accounts. Key Responsibilities: + Prepare and post complex journal entries with a clear understanding of debits and credits + Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness + Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and adjustments + Analyze financial data and variances to support financial reporting + Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies + Collaborate with AP/AR teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure proper coding + Support audits by providing detailed account analysis and documentation + Continuously review processes to improve accuracy and efficiency in journal entry workflows Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance + 3+ years of accounting experience, with demonstrated strength in debits and credits + Solid understanding of GAAP and general ledger functions + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) + High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills + Excellent organizational and communication skills Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
