Accountant

Accountant position with City entity in Anaheim. 5+ years experience needed (bank recs, journal entries, invoice processing, etc.). Contract temporary assignment up to 6 months in length. Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm, $30 per hour.

Accountant Details:

Contract position$30.00 /hourFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)Experience with grants for Workforce Development is preferred, if possible.Perform complex cost allocation among grants Prepare journal entriesRequests for reimbursementPrepare bank reconciliationsAnalyze general ledger data and prepare grant reportsPerform detail analysis of fund balancesProcess invoices, high volumePrepare agreement/contract summaryReconcile advances to actual grant disbursementsOther duties as assigned

Accountant Qualifications:

5+ years in accountingExperience with grants for Workforce Development is a plusExperience in preparing journal entriesExperience in preparing bank reconciliations Experience with general ledgersWill be subject to background check and drug screen
