Description We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with strong expertise in financial processes and a keen eye for detail. The role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance. **REQUIRED*** Excede Software Experience (from Procede) Responsibilities: • Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice verification and timely payments. • Handle accounts receivable tasks, such as posting payments and reconciling customer accounts. • Prepare and review journal entries to maintain accurate financial records. • Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure transactions are accurately reflected. • Maintain and update the general ledger to support financial reporting. • Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures. • Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. • Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues. • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. • Recommend improvements to accounting processes for greater efficiency. Requirements **REQUIRED*** Excede Software Experience (from Procede) • Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. • Proficiency in preparing and reviewing journal entries. • Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation processes. • Familiarity with accounting principles and standards. • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Effective communication skills for interacting with stakeholders. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
