Kforce has a client in Salisbury, NC that is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join their finance team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. Key Responsibilities: * Accountant will prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledger entries * Assist with month-end and year-end close processes * Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts * Support accounts payable and receivable functions * Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis * Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies * As an Accountant, you will collaborate with auditors and provide necessary documentation * Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
