The Role: Key to the Company’s Financial Success
As an Accountant, you’ll be a critical part of the global finance team, working closely with the CFO to ensure strong financial control, accurate reporting, and continuous improvements to financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Control – Ensure accurate accounting for global business activities and high-quality reporting. Financial Reporting & Compliance – Execute regulatory and external reporting, ensuring adherence to local and international requirements. Process Improvement – Implement efficient financial reporting and control processes, including system enhancements. Collaboration with Leadership – Work closely with the CFO and key stakeholders to drive financial strategy and transparency.
Who Will Thrive in This Role?
An experienced accountant (5+ years) with a background in a similar industry—shipping, finance, or brokerage preferred. A detail-oriented finance professional, comfortable managing complex reporting and regulatory requirements. An adaptable team player, eager to work in a fast-moving, high-performance environment. Tech-savvy, with experience in financial systems and a keen interest in process optimisation. A strong communicator, able to liaise confidently with both internal and external stakeholders. Fluent in English (written and spoken).
