Description We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Woburn, Massachusetts. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who excels in managing financial systems and ensuring accurate reporting. You will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of accounting processes and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. Responsibilities: • Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR). • Utilize accounting software systems to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting. • Prepare and analyze balance sheet accounts to maintain proper financial documentation. • Conduct audits to verify the accuracy of financial records and compliance with regulations. • Collaborate on ERP system processes to enhance financial operations. • Process and oversee transactions through Concur for expense management. • Work with ADP systems to support payroll and financial services. • Implement and refine accounting procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy. • Support month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing necessary reports and reconciliations. • Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in accounting practices. Requirements • Proven experience in accounting functions, including AP and AR. • Proficiency in accounting software systems and ERP platforms. • Familiarity with Concur for expense management and ADP for payroll services. • Strong understanding of balance sheet account preparation and financial analysis. • Background in auditing and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. • Ability to work with Cl programming for accounting data processing. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
