Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our client's team on a contract basis in Oregon City, Oregon. Responsibilities: • Manage accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collection and accurate recording. • Perform inter-account transfers and validate their accuracy. • Prepare and post general ledger journal entries with precision. • Conduct account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy and compliance. • Review and process invoices for accounts payable, ensuring proper documentation and approval. • Assist with auditing processes to ensure compliance with financial regulations. • Monitor balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies as needed. • Utilize ERP systems and accounting software to perform daily accounting tasks efficiently. • Collaborate with team members to support month-end and year-end close activities. Requirements • Proficiency in accounting software systems and ERP platforms. • Solid understanding of accounting principles, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Demonstrated experience in auditing and financial compliance. • Expertise in handling general ledger entries and journal postings. • Strong skills in account reconciliation and balance sheet management. • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a deadline-driven environment. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
