Accountant + **Location** Prague, Czechia + **Job ID** 0000026033 + **Category** Finance **Job Description** **Become part of our collaborative and supportive BSO team, where precision, learning, and teamwork drive success.** **Join our team at the LEGO Group and play a vital role in recognizing and rewarding our employees by ensuring a seamless process and working in our General Ledger Team !** _'This a 3 year fixed term opportunity'_ **Core Responsibilities** + Perform month end closing activities, prepare entries and maintain general ledger records and analysis for assigned accounting entities, all in a timely and accurate manner and in accordance with group accounting policies and accounting rules. + Prepare balance sheet reconciliations including supporting explanations and ensure follow up on outstanding balances and acting. + Ensure compliance with and maintenance of controls in accordance with the LEGO guidelines and tax and accounting legislation. + Support the Team Leaders and FBP Controllers with ad hoc projects. + Consistently adheres to company guidelines and policies. + Understanding team member's needs. + Support all audit-related activities. **Play your part in our team succeeding** The LEGO Business Service Operations (BSO) is a sharedservice center that delivers HR and Finance services to theentire LEGO Group from 3 locations: Monterrey, Prague andSingapore. The General Ledger (GL) department interacts with various parts of the LEGO organisation and therefore plays a vital role within Business Service Operations (BSO) supporting the EMEA region. The team ensures the accurate management of the general ledger and all related activities, requiring regular communication with various collaborators. The departmental focus is to: + Make sure we live our partner promise by ensuring highquality, stewardship and full compliance with the LEGOGroups current Accounting Policy and global processes. + Ensure timely, accurate and reliable transactional datarecorded in general ledger and timely reconciliation of allaccounts. + Support internal and external stakeholders with insightfuland value-adding financial analyses, recurringstatements and reporting bringing value to the overallbusiness. **Do you have what it takes?** + 2-4 years of professional working experience, preferably in a related financial role or a position where capabilities are transferable. + Experience working with Fixed Assets. + Analytical, detail - and high-quality oriented. + Be robust, resilient and ability to accept changes, as well as having a proactive mind with a can-do attitude. + Strong motivation and proactive approach, outstanding teamwork abilities and proven track record in establishing trust and credibility with assigned business areas or other important collaborators. + SAP experience is preferred. + Microsoft Office at experienced level. + Strong written and spoken English, additional languages are an advantage. \#EL - LI1 Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
