Description We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our client's team in Honolulu, Hawaii. In this direct hire role, as part of a team, you will handle financial tasks for a busy office, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in accounting processes. Responsibilities: • Perform daily & monthly financial reconciliations to ensure all accounts are accurate and compliant. • Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. • Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to guide decision-making. • Provide asset management support by analyzing performance and identifying improvement opportunities. • Collaborate with departments and teams to ensure financial operations align with company goals. • Track and manage job costs to ensure projects stay within budget. • Assist in month-end reporting and analysis, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements. • Develop detailed financial reports to support strategic planning and operational goals. Requirements • A minimum of 3 years of experience recent accounting • Proficiency with ERP software and intermediate Excel • Strong knowledge of month-end and year-end closing processes. • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
