Our Full-Time Engagement Practice Group (FTEP) provides the unique opportunity to enjoy the stability of a full-time role while working on a variety of engaging and diverse client assignments. We are currently seeking an Accountant to join our FTEP team. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and motivated professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is excited to build their expertise across industries and accounting functions. As an Accountant with Robert Half’s FTEP team, you’ll be deployed to assist clients with their accounting needs on a project-by-project basis. Your responsibilities will vary depending on the assignment but may include: + Preparing journal entries, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining proper documentation. + Performing account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. + Managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, assisting with financial reporting and analysis. + Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections. + Supporting the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses. + Maintaining fixed asset schedules and preparing depreciation calculations. + Assisting with internal and external audits by gathering and preparing required documentation. + Providing process improvement recommendations to optimize the efficiency of the accounting workflow. + Collaborating with client stakeholders to ensure compliance with GAAP and other accounting principles. Requirements + A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. + 2+ years of accounting experience, with exposure to general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting. + Knowledge of GAAP or IFRS standards. + Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle, as well as strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis). + Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a passion for accuracy. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams and clients. + The ability to adapt quickly to new industries, environments, and systems. + A proactive approach to problem-solving and managing priorities in fast-paced environments.
