Caterpillar OEM Solutions within Resource Industries has an exciting opportunity for an Accountant. This position will act as a customer facing lead to review business results with the extended OEM team and leaders. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with partners across the business internally and externally, in addition to functional groups across Caterpillar. OEM solutions works with Dealers, Competitors, and Customers around the world to offer unique solutions to fit their business needs. This position will offer you the opportunity to provide financial planning, analysis, and reporting support to a fast-paced, innovative, and growing global organization. This role will encourage you to demonstrate and develop your communication, presentation, and financial analysis skills, along with providing avenues to interact regularly with senior management within Resource Industries and other cross functional groups within the enterprise. **What You Will Do:** + Review month-end results and prepare cascade details. + Collaborate with the Analytics COE to ensure accurate reporting. + Support SOX and other compliance initiatives and reporting. + Create reports on financial performance for internal and external use. + Communicate and present to leadership on a regular cadence as part of Monthly Reviews. + Create and utilize automated tools for the updating, analyzing and reporting of consolidated financial results. + Support ongoing Global Financial Initiatives such as implementation of OneStream, AllocateIt, Strategy Dashboards and other ongoing projects. **What Skills You Will Have:** + Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations. + Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. + Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
