As an Account, you will maintain financial records and ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded. You will ensure the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger. You will prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports.
Responsibilities:
Create and send out invoices and statements to customers. Follow up on overdue payments and resolve any billing issues. Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable. Update and maintain customer files and accounting records. Generate regular reports to summarize the status of customer accounts and outstanding receivables. Assist in month-end closing procedures and reconciliations. Collaborate with other departments to streamline billing and collection processes. Respond to inquiries from customers regarding their accounts in a timely and professional manner. Process credit memos and refunds as required.Qualifications:
Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field required 1 year required, 3 years preferred of accounting experience 1 year of working knowledge of Oracle financials module experience is preferred Federal, state, and local laws, codes and regulations Accounting theory, and application principles and practices Principles and practices of financial record keeping and reporting Analyze and interpret complex financial and statistical data Research and analyze varieties of information Operate various office equipment, including computers and adding machines Prepare, examine and verify financial documents reports Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
