ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions + Assist in the completion of the month-end process. + Prepare standard month-end journal entries, including amortization of prepaid assets + Contract reconciliations. Review monthly pools/caps in preparation for invoicing and month end close + Prepare month end Balance Sheet recons as assigned + Review and post GL uploads of claims, pharmacy, and credit card bills + Prepare Insurance Expense allocations + Assist the Controller with quarterly/annual local tax filings and annual report + Fixed assets Maintenance + Miscellaneous projects or reports as required by management + Any and all other duties as assigned Qualifications REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: + Bachelor’s degree in accounting required + 2+ years of related experience + Strong Microsoft Office, Internet, and email skills + QuickBooks experience preferred + Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; hands-on training
