Job DescriptionWe are looking to hire an experienced Accountant to join our team in our growing office in Zagreb.
The Accountant role is a varied one, covering various accounting responsibilities:
Post supplier invoices, expense reports and journals for small entities in accordance with our accounting guidelinesPost and reconcile bank transactionsPay supplier invoices, taxes and employee expensesCommunicate with external accountantMaintain accounts files and recordsCoordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activitiesAnswer accounting procedure questionsEnsure payments are being made and received on timeSupporting external and Group auditsAny other duties in the scope of the role that the company requiresQualificationsUniversity degree (Accounting, Economics, Finance) or equivalent requiredAt least 3+ years of accounting experienceGood knowledge of accounting/financial principlesStrong communication skills, both written and verbalStrong Excel and data analytical skillsGood business acumen with ability to understand complex organizational structures and environmentsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Ability to handle sensitive, confidential informationSomeone who can work in a very busy officeAdditional Information
