Your Role at Delta Faucet
The Plant Accountant is responsible for accurately processing hourly payroll, inventory reporting, month-end duties, and fixed assets oversight following established procedures. This role will play a key part in budgeting, forecasting, and preparing month-end reports. Flexibility to adapt in a constantly evolving environment with procedure and process adjustments will be necessary.
Position allows for much individual work but also allows for involvement within team settings, including cross-functional involvement with many departments in the organizationThis position reports to the Plant Accounting Manager within the Greensburg Manufacturing Plant.Working relationships for this position are mainly internal DFC employees at HQ, other North American plant locations, Masco HQ and 3PLsPosition allows for knowledge growth in the areas of GAAP Accounting and Financial AnalysisResponsibilities
Process and maintain bi-weekly payroll for hourly employees for two sitesOversite of inventory cycle countsInventory compliance within the Masco Inventory Policy Lead fixed asset activities and ensure fixed asset controlsLearn and apply continuous improvement methods to improve processesAssist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts by gathering and analyzing cost-related data.Performance of monthly journal entriesResponsible for holding quarterly meetings, reporting monthly expenses, and improving expense forecastingMonthly creation of standard financial reports for Finance & other departmentsMaintain compliance with internal controls and SOXNumerous and varied ad hoc financial analysisQualifications
B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance from a 4-year college or university and preferred 5+ years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing accounting environmentProficiency in Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data visualization), PowerBI and SAP experience preferredSelf-motivated in finding answers and proposing solutionsAbility to successfully handle problems and be able to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization while maintaining confidentialityHigh degree of professional excellence characterized by sound independent judgment, initiative and a high standard of ethics.Why Join Us?
