Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Knowledge of GAAP and proven ability to perform month end close duties • Prepare accruals and assist in the month-end close process • Monthly account analyses / reconciliations to verify various General Ledger account balances • Play a key role in external audit by providing timely and accurate support schedules as requested • Assist tax department in year-end audit and tax reporting • Internal compliance: assist with the development, review and updating of accounting policies, procedures, checklists and related documentation concerning assigned functions and responsibilities • Manages the data upload into BPC for actual, forecast, & budget purposes • Assists with cash flow reporting • Manages the distribution of monthly departmental expense vs. budget reports and assists recipients in understanding the data and providing additional details as required • Proficiency in MS Excel: V-lookups, pivot tables, etc. • Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture, • Regular, predictable attendance is required; • Other duties may be assigned. **Job Requirements** Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
