Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a **Accountant 1** to work at a facility in **Albany, NY.** These are _registry_ positions with our company. **Pay Rate:** $28 / hour *W2 **Shift details:** + 8:30-4:30 **Duties Description** Under the direct supervision of the Education Finance Specialist 2, and oversight of the supervisor of Grants Finance, the incumbents of these positions will assist with the processing, review, and payment of grant projects. The duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Review fiscal documents for completeness, correctness, and compliance with department Fiscal Guidelines and standard office processing procedures. 2. Process fiscal transactions in the department's grant payment system and/or the Statewide Financial System (SFS). 3. Develop tables, charts, spreadsheets, and reports as needed by using various reporting tools to extract and compile data related to grants and grant-funded activities from multiple sources; 4. Maintain accurate and complete office files. 5.
