Accountant – Integrated Components & Solution Research and Engineering

This role will support Integrated Components & Solution Services R&E Reporting, lean projects and financial forecasting & analysis of ICS’s Virtual Product Development, Product Life Cycle Management and Additive teams. **What You Will Do:** + Creating reports on financial performance and providing insightful analysis for internal division results. + Maintaining internal financial system data and collaboration with the analytics COE on rate calculations. + Upon request, take part in special projects and ad hoc reporting requests. + Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls while ensuring that accounting procedures comply with GAAP. **What You Have:** + **Education and Experience** : Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and 2+years of experience + **Accuracy and Attention to Detail:** Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision + **Analytical Thinking:** Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems + **Effective Communications:** Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors + **Managing Multiple Priorities:** Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities + **Problem Solving:** Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations. + **Accounting:** Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools; ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes. + **Financial Analysis:** Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material. + **Financial Reporting:** Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports. **Additional Info** : + The primary location for this position is Mossville, IL + Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify + Sponsorship is **not** available **What You Will Get:** + Our goal at Caterpillar is for you to have a rewarding career.
