About This Opportunity The Account Specialist will report to the Sales Director. This position’s key focus will be to grow and maintain the prepaid business for InComm at assigned retailer(s) while driving and maximizing account productivity. The position is a combination of marketing, account and operations support in a client-facing role. The Account Specialist plays a key role in supporting the rollout of major initiatives along with supporting the sales team ensuring all daily account and customer related issues are actioned in a timely manner. This person will help the InComm account team support the prepaid category at the retailer with the goal of growing sales and profitability with a special focus on operational, marketing, and promotional initiatives. Responsibilities Sustain relationships with key clients, acting as the primary point of contact and building trust. Analyze client requirements, business objectives, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and address potential challenges. Resolve issues, anticipate needs, and ensure clients are satisfied with the company's products and services. Create strategic plans and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Collaborating with internal teams such as logistics, procurement, marketing, and product development, to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to client management. Monitor sales progress, identify areas for improvement, and report on the status of the account. Develop and implement planograms that are proportionate to the opportunity and strategic direction of the company. Ensuring project deadlines are met. Determining project changes Facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members Execute internal and external processes Maintain key databases Implement best practices and work on continual improvements in all processes and documentation Keep abreast of industry trends and changes, advise how these can be brought into the company’s offerings/practices through sales and marketing strategies Facilitate internal invoicing process Marketing and advertising support: Plan, set up and manage promotional activity tracker and creative for all promotional assets Support and participate and annual tradeshows Analyze and maintain a database of all promotions/shippers Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 1 to 2 years of Account Management experience Business strategy and process skills Proven ability to create and implement strategic plans Proven ability to prioritize workload throughout multiple accounts Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing tasks and demands in a fast-paced work environment.
