Labcorp is seeking a Bilingual Account Specialist who can fluently speak, read, and write in both Spanish and English to join our Customer Service/Immigration Team in Burlington, NC. This position plays a key role in supporting client relationships and ensuring timely, accurate responses to inquiries.
The Account Specialist will serve clients from a variety of sectors, including State Government contract accounts, TPA (Third-Party Administrator) accounts, the Director of Consumer Market, as well as private attorneys and immigration offices, and internal customers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of professionalism, responsiveness, and commitment to delivering world-class customer service.
Work Schedule: First Shift, Floating Shift Monday-Friday 8:00am to 8:00pm
Note: Overtime is required based on business needs

Job Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between Labcorp and clients/patients, providing support and resolving customer concernsManage inbound and outbound calls in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner, following established protocolsInquire, clarify, and confirm customer requests, ensuring full understanding and accurate resolutionEducate customers on company services and products as neededQualify and assist new inbound customers seeking DNA testing servicesWork across multiple databases and systems to research and resolve complex inquiries Notify clients of test results in a timely and accurate manner Review test request forms for accuracy; identify and report discrepanciesPerform administrative support related to medical record management and internal records to maintain HIPAA complianceParticipate in continuous improvement activities to enhance customer satisfaction and team performanceRequirements
High school diploma or GED required, associate’s degree or higher preferred Prior experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center environment, is required Experience in the healthcare industry (e.g., physician’s office, hospital, or medical services) is preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent listening ability Must be courteous, professional, and have a strong customer service orientation Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and manage shifting priorities Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Must be fluent in Spanish and English, including the ability to read, write, and speak both languages clearly and accuratelyIf you're looking for a career that offers opportunities for growth, continual development, professional challenge and the chance to make a real difference, apply today!
