Job Description
Serve as the primary contact with customers and brokers regarding contract and order execution in domestic and international markets. Maintain and build positive partnerships, manage customer contracts, and participate as a key team member on improvement projects.
ResponsibilitiesEnter and execute contracts, orders, returns, debits, and credits into an SAP processing system.Facilitate accurate and timely shipments in accordance with customer schedules, contract, and shipping terms.Schedule export and domestic transportation service with customers, freight forwarders, and outside carriers.Ensure accurate invoicing of products shipped, including correct payment of broker commissions.Oversee compliance with documentation and customs requirements for domestic and international shipments.Ensure compliance with customer, governmental, and food safety regulations.Partner with the Quality Assurance department to support complaint investigation and arrange returns and replacement products as appropriate.Maintain accurate customer records and ensure documentation of essential information.Work with customers, brokers, sales, and planning to assist with forecasting future production needs, shipment volumes, and plan transportation needs.Address and resolve customer concerns using problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Provide ongoing support to sales, operations, logistics, and planning to enable future volume and margin growth.Essential SkillsLogistics and supply chain expertise.Proficiency in SAP ERP, data entry, and import/export logistics.Strong analytical skills and experience in administrative support.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.Excellent customer service and dispatch skills.Experience with transportation, inventory, and filing.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Agribusiness, or related field.Experience in contract order management and export knowledge.Experience working in an ERP system, preferably SAP.Knowledge of transportation/logistics procedures, including air, ground, and ocean shipments.Experience with agricultural products and food safety regulations.Experience in cloud operations.Work Environment
This position is based in an office setting with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM or 7 AM to 4 PM
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
