Description We’re seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Account Operations Associate to join our clients team on a temporary 6-month basis. In this role, you’ll support the daily functions of our account operations department, providing high-quality service to both members and internal staff. Responsibilities include processing account-related requests, supporting retirement services (IRAs), managing record retention tasks, and assisting with reconciliations and compliance-related documentation. This position is ideal for someone with a strong operations or banking background who is comfortable working in a deadline-driven, high-compliance environment. Key Responsibilities: + Process Verifications of Deposit and ensure timely turnaround + Open and sort department mail, handle return mail, and perform various mail-related tasks + Maintain and destroy records on-site in accordance with policy + Track and compile daily/monthly departmental statistics and reports + Review and resolve service requests within established timeframes + Perform daily account reconciliations, documenting and clearing outstanding/problem items (no items over 30 days) + Provide support for IRA/HSA functions, including maintenance and transactions + Maintain accuracy and compliance across account types, including Smart Sense and Campus Connect accounts + Support additional operational areas as needed to maintain high service standards Requirements Requirements: + High school diploma or GED required; minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred + Basic knowledge of banking or deposit operations a plus + Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a regulated, high-risk environment + Strong time management, decision-making, and organizational skills + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, spreadsheets, reporting) + Previous experience with reconciliations is helpful + Ability to adapt quickly and collaborate across departments Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
