Are you an entrepreneurial and results-oriented software seller who excels at opening new markets? As an Account Manager SaaS at FORTNA, you will spearhead the European and wider international roll-out of FORTNA OptiSlot DC™ — our cloud-based, data-driven slotting optimisation platform for distribution centres.

Your mission will be to identify target accounts, craft compelling value propositions around OptiSlot DC’s, and close deals.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales:

Identify and assess market opportunities to drive growth.Prospect target industries and accounts, build referral networks, and share best-practice sales solutions with colleagues to accelerate deals.Drive new-customer acquisition by showcasing how FORTNA solutions have solved similar challenges for existing clients and guiding prospects through every stage of the sales funnel.Sell and Realize sales target

Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.Serve as a trusted advisor, using your influence to gain buy-in for new ideas and concepts.

  

Long-term Strategic Perspective:

Understand and empathize with the long-term needs of our customers.Develop collaborative solutions that address these needs and contribute to long-term success.Execute structured follow-up to ensure product adoption and satisfaction.Cultivate referral advocates among satisfied customers to accelerate acquisition.

Networking & Relationship Building:

Participate in key industry networks to stay informed and connected.Leverage your network to benefit the business and build new relationships.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

2 to 7 years of proven experience in Sales or Account Management within a SaaS environment.Extensive knowledge of commercial concepts, principles, and processes.Preferably, familiarity or experience with Warehouse Logistics and Intralogistics solutions.A commitment to setting and achieving challenging performance targets.Empathy for long-term customer challenges, with the ability to craft collaborative solutions.Travel to visit clients and trade shows, is an important part of this role.

Based in the Netherlands, with the option to work remotely. Our Dutch office is located in Houten, offering flexible arrangements for working from the office, from home, and attending client visits as needed.
