We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Account Manager to join our Real Estate team. This role is responsible for the day-to-day servicing of a designated book of business, with a strong emphasis on policy management, client communication, and internal coordination. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of real estate insurance programs, including property, general liability, umbrella/excess, and ancillary coverages.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage a book of commercial real estate accounts with varying levels of complexityServe as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, ensuring high service standards and responsivenessCoordinate and manage all aspects of policy renewals, including data collection, applications, and marketing to carriersReview and compare insurance quotes and proposals, making coverage recommendations aligned with client needsIssue certificates of insurance, process endorsements, and track premium paymentsWork closely with producers, underwriters, and other internal teams to deliver timely and accurate informationMaintain up-to-date client records in the agency management system (EPIC)Stay informed on industry trends and changes impacting the real estate and insurance sectorsAssist in onboarding new clients and ensuring smooth transitionsProactively identify coverage gaps, risk exposures, and opportunities to enhance programsQualifications & Requirements:
3+ years of commercial P&C insurance experience, preferably in an agency or brokerage settingKnowledge of real estate-related exposures and coveragesActive Property & Casualty insurance licenseProficiency in agency management systems and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail with the ability to manage competing prioritiesTeam-oriented with a client-first attitudeExperience handling large schedules of properties and layered/excess liability programsRisk Strategies is the 9th largest privately held US brokerage firm offering comprehensive risk management advice, insurance and reinsurance placement for property & casualty, employee benefits, private client services, as well as consulting services and financial & wealth solutions.
