WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Working within the global sales team, you will be at the forefront of our personal care and home care sales strategy:

Strategic Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities whilst cultivating and expanding relationships with our existing brand owners. Develop strategies to penetrate new accounts and grow existing relationships with brand owners.Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients and business stakeholders, ensuring their needs are understood and met.Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning. Technical Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of protein chemistry and applications in Personal Care formulations, to provide clients with solutions that enhance their product offerings. Educate brand owners on the benefits and applications of our protein hydrolysates, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor. Collaboration for Success: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and production, to ensure alignment between client needs and our product offerings. Your collaboration will ensure that we deliver exceptional value to our customers.Sales Performance: Monitor sales performance and account health, providing regular updates and insights to senior management. Develop actionable plans to address challenges and seize new opportunities.Networking and Representation: Represent BASF at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build relationships, promote our offerings, and identify potential leads. WHAT YOU OFFER Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field - advanced degree preferreda minimum of 3 years experience in account management or business development within the personal care or cosmetic industrystrong understanding of protein chemistry and its applications in cosmetic formulations, particularly in personal care and home care productsproven track record of successfully managing client relationships and achieving sales targetsexceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients at all levelsself-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a teamwillingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry eventsWHAT WE OFFER
