Account Manager - Personal Care

Our work environment is inclusive, diverse, and guided by respect, ethics, and equal opportunities for all. **What we’re looking for:** As an Account Manager for Indorama’s Personal Care market you will be responsible for the account management of existing customer accounts and for developing and securing new opportunities within and beyond your core customers. This includes expanding current customer relationships, developing new business relationships, and facilitating new product ideas based on customer needs. As an Account Manager you will also be responsible for managing day-to-day responsibilities (support/follow up on quotations, pipeline of opportunities, call reports, account plans) for your assigned customers. This role reports to the Commercial Manager. **What will be expected from you?** + Understand organizational priorities, develop and implement the Account Plans aligned with the segment's strategic plan, and ensure adequate communication and awareness within the company. + Understand customer business needs and priorities, discovering and validating key challenges and quantifying opportunities. + Connect customer needs with the Indorama Personal Care strategy. + Develop a network between the main contacts of the customer and manage relationships in commercial, marketing and R&D areas. + Assure alignment to provide service recognized as valuable by the accounts in terms of Negotiation / Technical Service & Development / Innovation / Quality / Project management and implementation. + Define and track sales to the customer account to ensure maximum results. + Manage business by ensuring account results are maximized, along with developing a product pipeline with customers. + Support troubleshooting customer complaints by coordinating internally and providing feedback to customers. + Work collaboratively across the cross-functional teams, regionally and globally, to achieve business goals. + Participate and represent Indorama at key conferences and trade shows. + Participate in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company. Participate in and complete all company required training programs. **What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?** + Must have Bachelors Degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related technical field. + Must have 7+ years experience in Personal Care market + Must be willing to travel up to 50% + Must have the ability to sell in a wide variety of markets, and have the ability to build relationships at target accounts + Must have high level of organization, to balance multiple activities (customer visits, reporting, training, and forecasting) + Must have excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills + Must have a valid Drivers License + Knowledge in the Personal Care market + Experience and Knowledge of the Surfactants Market + Must have a level of proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office programs + Fluent in English (Mandatory).
