This role is for an Account Manager to develop and grow the Network Infrastructure (IP, Optics, Fixed Networking) Business in GERMANY CSP market within the Network Infrastructure organization.
Position Overview: This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and innovative Account Manager to join us in building awareness and creating traction for Nokia’s leading market portfolio across the IP (incl. DC Fabric), Optics and Fixed Networking Infrastructure market. As Account Manager with a business development focus you will define the win strategy and lead the execution of the end-to-end sales process. You will report to the Customer Team Head of Nokia GERMANY.

Accountability for key business objectives (incl. Order Intake) for German CSP customers Responsibility for all business and sales related activities, including building and executing a strategic plan to deliver significant growth for this market segment Accountability for Partnership GTM strategy for German CSP customers Identifies and develops new business opportunities, in collaboration with pre-sales experts based on the full Nokia NI portfolio incl. Data Center Networking Constantly interacts with key stakeholders within customers as Nokia Direct Touch, understanding their objectives, challenges and remit to increase own effectiveness Coordinates activities among sales, pre-sales and other functions, as well as partners in case of indirect business Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes and services. Contributes to strategic decisions within own defined scope (account, portfolio, geography, etc)Proven track record of closing deals in Account Management or Sales role, preferably in the IP, Optics, Fixed Networking, Data Center, cloud, or IT infrastructure space. Hunter mindset with a never-give-up mentality.
You have:
Bachelor’s degree in applicable subject or equivalent technology background or experience 3+ years of sales specific experience in the Network Infrastructure, ICT or Data Center domain, either in the Telecom sector or in other industry sectors with heavy adoption of Telecom solutions Fluency in German and English and ability to integrate multinational and cross-functional virtual teams Ability to develop sales stories and business cases creating value for customers Excellent communications skills, both orally and written with the ability to evangelize both internally and to customers Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities Strong interest in the alternative CSP and Networking Infrastructure Technology markets Enthusiasm in keeping abreast of technological and market trend as well as competitive intelligence Market analysis: Build up a thorough understanding of the Data Center market and eco-system in GERMANY, quantify the market potential Pipeline Development: Identify concrete sales opportunities and constantly grow the sales funnel Sales and Revenue Growth: Drive sales opportunities and close deals within your accounts to meet order intake targets Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders to drive long-term business growth Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, product business groups and especially the partner and enterprise teams to align strategies and improve sales processes and success rates
