Account Manager Microsurgery

Carl Zeiss B.V. s looking for an Account Manager for Sales and Application Support to Sell and to provide product advice, training, and application support for its ZEISS Microsurgery product portfolio for NEURO-, ENT- and P&R Surgery. The Account Manager will represent ZEISS at our clients in Dutch (and sometimes Belgian) hospitals and private clinics. The candidate will work in various locations, and every day will be different. The candidate will collaborate closely with other colleagues, account managers and field service engineers within our Benelux structure and will report directly to the Sales Manager Microsurgery Benelux.

The key responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):

Manage the complete sales journey with all stakeholders in the accounts in your region with the aim to:

Close deals successfully in order to achieve the sales and margin targets

Provide accurate business forecasts for your region  

Providing product and application support for ZEISS microsurgery products.

Delivering presentations, training sessions at client sites, and product demonstrations during conferences, workshops or at ZEISS demo facilities.

Assisting in finding the right solutions for customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.

Supporting the sales team, collaborating with marketing colleagues and working with our Field Service Engineers to provide solutions for clients in case of malfunctions or repairs.

Remaining up-to-date with the latest market trends and communicating these to other colleagues (Product Management, R&D) at ZEISS headquarters in Oberkochen, Germany.

Required knowledge & experience

A commercial business orientated bachelor's degree, or a similar degree of a technical or product-related field, or has equivalent experience.

A background in a clinical setting within microsurgery, for example as an operating room assistant or biomedical engineer. Alternatively, experience in microsurgery in a similar role within the medical device industry.

Some experience in delivering training and working in an operating room.

Can work independently, is creative, able to think process-wise, and can provide total solutions for our customers, in business and application of our products.

Can handle responsibilities and work under pressure when necessary. We expect you to be stress-resistant.

Speaks both Dutch or Flamish or French and English to communicate effectively with clients.

Holds a valid driver’s license (B) as the role involves frequent travel to customer locations.

Preferably residing in the West or Middle part of the Netherlands
