About IPSD
Caterpillar’s Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD) designs, tests and manufactures 0.5 to 18L engines that not only power Caterpillar machines, but also power over 5000 other applications including Marine, Petroleum, Industrial Applications, Electric Generators, and Locomotives. Job Summary:
As the Account Manager – Industrial Engines at – Industrial Engines Power Systems Division, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all sales and marketing activities various solution programs across a wide range of power and service solutions for “corporate account” customers a significant client or specific client group. We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate candidate who can effectively grow and nurture customer relationships. The candidate will be required to identify the customer critical
requirements and work collaboratively to offer the product solution to achieve the customer application requirements, whilst seeking out opportunities for further account growth.
What You Will Do:
• Following organizational policies and procedures and maintaining clear and direct line of communication within the organization to meet customer requirements.
• Consult with dealers and internal business partners on the subject of sales and service support of product to “corporate account” customers.
• Designing processes for informing customer of rates, shipping date, anticipated delays and any additional information needed by the customer.
• Working directly with customers to collect information, identifysell additional products requirements and services to current customerscurrent customers, and ensure customers' needs are met.

• Demonstrates current knowledge of the regulatory environment for industry segment.
• Describes the contribution of own function as it relates to the industry segment.
• Participates in major industry professional associations; subscribes to industry-specific publications.
• Experience working with a major industry segment and associated functions and features.
• Experience within one of more of the following industries: agriculture, construction, electric power, industrial, material handling or rental equipment.
•Product experience of off-highway industrial diesel or alternative fuel engines, hybrids, electrification products and service solutions
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Level Working Knowledge:
• Delivers helpful feedback that focuses on behaviors without offending the recipient.

• Makes oral presentations and writes reports needed for own work.
• Avoids technical jargon when inappropriate.

• Previous experience working with Salesforce preferred.

Additional Information:
This position is located in Seguin, TX and requires a 5-day-a-week in office schedule

Summary Pay Range:
$126,000.00 - $189,000.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
