Job Summary

Sales account manager Flavours for Spain and Portugal

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Account Manager (Flavors, Iberia) with a focus in the F&B industry to develop the Flavors business in Spain & Portugal!

We are looking for an individual with both technical and commercial experience within the food industry and ideally product development experience in the flavor business. This role involves market prospecting for new clients to growing existing accounts.

Reporting to the Flavors Division sales manager, they will be the primary point of contact between the customer and the company. Main responsibilities will be to grow our actual business in key segments of the food industry developing relationships with customers; proactively identify new business opportunities and coordinate internal resources to deliver best technical and innovative business solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Prospecting: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Flavor sector for F&B industry

Account Management: Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets and drive business growth.

Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including R&D, marketing, and Product managers to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

Autonomous Management: Operate with a high degree of autonomy, managing your own schedule and priorities to meet business objectives.

Customer Support: Provide exceptional support to clients, addressing their inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Your Qualifications:

We are looking for a person with:

A technical degree (chemistry, biology, food technology or similar) or/and gained experience in similar roles in the F&B industry

5-10 years of experience in business-to-business sales

Preferably experience in the food and beverage industry & flavor sales.

Fluency in Spanish & English

Travel availability (30-40% estimated)

IT skills (Microsoft package, Salesforce etc)
