SBMA is currently seeking an Account Manager I to join our growing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES (including but not limited to):
Manage client accounts, either as a hybrid role or for a specific account as assigned.Communicate in a clear, professional, and tactful manner.Demonstrate proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office.Handle inbound/outbound calls from clients, brokers, and GAsProvide information and support to resolve customer inquiries and issues.Verify client coverage & plan-related questions as needed.Scan, email, and manage documents as needed.Process ID card requests.Serve as a backup for COBRA administration, including enrollments, answering rate questions, and ensuring timely processing.Perform daily office tasks such as Outlook inbox management.Assist with eligibility, enrollment, implementation, renewal, and annual review processes.Manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.If licensed, respond to call center calls year-round as they come in.Participate in special projects and complete other duties as assigned.This description is not meant to be all-inclusive and may be modified from time to time at the discretion of management.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or the recognized equivalent, required1+ years of prior medical benefits-related insurance experience, requiredMinimum of 1-year Medical Benefits-related experience required.Minimum of 1-year prior experience with benefits/eligibility portals required.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge)1+ years of prior experience working in an administrative/office settingPREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Health and Life Insurance License preferred, or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment.Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The base compensation range for this position is $26 - $28. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting.
