Job Description

And do you thrive in a high-performance culture with technical expertise? Then you might be our new Account Manager in a small team working with mobile hydraulics in Danfoss Power Solutions (PS).

As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for supporting our existing customers as well as identifying new opportunities in strategically important regional areas of Northwest of France (Bretagne, Pays de la Loire, Centre Val de Loire). You rapidly understand and build on the variety of different business cases and concepts that your customers present you with – you identify where Danfoss PS’ capabilities can best support the customer and use this to secure the customers’ business.

Therefore, you need to be an expert on both products and customers’ business plans, and you deliver the necessary feedback to product management on needed product requirements. You perform your job both in direct contact with the market and by focusing on streamlined cooperation internally with Sales Development Managers, technical service, and customer service, ensuring strong awareness of the products for which you are responsible. Another challenge will be to develop sales strategies and price levels and to execute these on OEM target account.

Develop the existing customer portfolio, Follow up on ongoing activities and monitor potential opportunities or compelling events to promote PS’ products and solutions to customers, Act as a technical expert in the relevant product portfolio, Increase efficiency and effectiveness in customer management, Cooperate with local Danfoss sales companies, Communicate on all levels and transform complex functionalities into customer values. The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

 BSc or MSc degree in engineering,  At least 5 years of proven and solid track record of sales,  Alternatively, you might hold an MSc in business development combined with substantial experience in the sale of technical products, preferably hydraulics,  Good networking skills and a full overview of relevant stakeholders,  A personal drive and the ambition to push boundaries both internally and externally,  Execution-oriented with a close follow-up mentality,  Fluent in French and English, both verbally and in writing.
