Account Manager (Creative & Investment Banking)

Job Description

The Creative Account Manager is a key role within the GO Creative business unit. This position will be responsible for championing key initiatives in customer service, technical training, general employee development and direct supervisory responsibilities. This role will support day-to-day operations across their assigned group, assuring a high level of service and quality for all customers. This individual will work closely with the Operational Leadership team to create, manage, and achieve annual budget targets.

This role operates in an outsourced capacity, servicing an investment banking client of RR Donnelley.

Responsibilities:

Supporting full range of staff management duties to include recruiting, employee relations, scheduling, performance management (coaching, feedback, development planning and succession planning).Assist the leadership team with recruiting new talent, developing training/orientation materials, and addressing performance concernsCreate strategy to develop high performing teams, coach and train team members across the entire organizationCollaborating with the General Manager and Account Manager to develop strategy, best practices and standard operating procedures across the entire operationDeveloping and maintaining relationships with clients as necessarySupport team in developing and executing service improvement plans in response to client satisfaction feedbackProviding strategic planning to maintain high standards and streamline processesParticipate in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and capital project requestsMonitoring financial targets and ensure they are achieved on a monthly basisProviding support for new client discovery / onboarding efforts, and specialty projects as requiredMaintaining open communication with employees, managers and clientsComplete other duties as assigned

QualificationsBachelor's degree in area relative to the businessMinimum 5 years of experience in an Operational Management role in a similar client facing positionEnthusiasm, aptitude, organizational skills and a willingness to learnStrong reasoning and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to interact with client and team members in a professional and respectful mannerExpert knowledge of MS Office programs including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPointMicrosoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification preferredStrong technology background with project management experienceProven experience building strong, cohesive and high-performing teams through effective motivation and coaching methodsProven experience leading, developing and training staff

Additional Information

The national pay range for this role is $84,100 - $134,600 / year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
