We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to drive Danfoss market share development in our Commercial Refrigeration business in Singapore. To be successful, the incumbent must drive a clear go-to-market strategy with an inclusive approach and strong opportunity management. As a team player, the incumbent should continuously harness full transparency and drive active decisions on how to position Danfoss based on projects pipeline management.
Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Driving business with profitable growth, and gain market share through defining and driving Segment sales strategy across hotspots Develop strong industry knowledge and external network in relevant area Optimize offer and value proposition for segment products by evaluating market trends, customer behaviours and competitor activities, in cooperation with other Business Segments Define and execute application and product training and build best-in-class product and application approach to the local market Establish effective working culture and communication with the Singapore organization to achieve sales targets in own Segment and promote cross Segment opportunities Promote our sustainability agenda and generate business opportunities especially in the food hotspot. Ensure any barriers implicating active product line are escalated within the LoB to respective functional leaders (Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering) Support Global/Regional Segment Marketing and marketing communication teams on relevant business case development, fact pack development, heat maps and targeted marketing campaigns Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions (USP) and differentiators Background & SkillsAt Danfoss, we believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace fosters creativity, innovation, and a broader perspective in decision-making. Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Business or equivalent, with proven experience in sales and business development skills in the engineering/industrial sectors Understanding of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry 5 years of experience in Sales & Marketing and/or product management Solid business experience in strategy, planning and leadership Strong business acumen with solid negotiation and presentation skills Ability to translate customers’ needs into compelling product and/or service propositions Effective communication and networking skills - both internal (across all relevant functions) and external (customers) Self-motivated, service-oriented individual having a customer centric mindset.
