Since then, Primark has grown and grown, by tapping into the simple proposition of amazing fashion at amazing prices. Today it has over 400 stores in 15 countries with international and US expansion continuing at pace. We began our partnership with Primark in 2021, supporting the retailer's digital transformation journey and first ever advertising campaign. Since then, our relationship has gone from strength to strength – our bespoke measurement model has proven media can drive incremental instore sales from digital channels, we’ve supported the launch of Click and Collect in the UK and new websites across 15 markets, and advertising has gone from 1 market to 10 including One Publicis Primark teams in the US and Germany. We’ve also won multiple Media Week, SEO and Performance marketing awards for our work. The Planning Account Manager will be an integral part of the team, being the go-to-person to clients and departments and we continue to work with Primark on their digital transformation journey to maximize the online high-street opportunity through data and innovative media solutions – the goal being to drive more footfall and instore incremental sales through digital. **Responsibilities** + Support AD and BD in major/annual campaign planning, e.g. owning sections of document with complete slides with clear take-outs + Leading on RTB's (lead on deck structure, briefing support, client delivery) + Oversee work from junior team members, ensuring tasks are delivered timeously and to the highest standard. + Lead activation briefing (explain strategy, roles for channels, plan expectations and budget) + Interrogate plans internally - think like a client and ensure activation teams understand client business challenges + Instil team culture of excellence, and ensure all work delivered by themselves or junior team is fully accurate + Proactively identify opportunities to enhance marketing processes and challenge clients to explore innovative strategies that drive overall marketing success **Qualifications** + Strong understanding of media channels and their applicable role in a media plan. + Understands the value of cross-functional teams—such as Analytics and Data Science—in providing insights that inform rationale and enhance media recommendations + Must be numerate, familiar with MMM/Econometrics and performance planning techniques + Understands the mechanics and roles of different social platforms **Additional information** **Starcom** has fantastic benefits on offer to all of our employees.
