Job Description

We are currently seeking an Account Manager to join our Logistics Operation at our Corby based site. 

You will be responsible for providing excellent client service across all business streams, whilst proposing cost saving and business improvement initiatives and best practice.

This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. We’re offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with a market leader.

Duties as follows: 

Reporting:

Dashboard - check, update and commentaryDaily Status ReportsWeekly & Period client reporting - monitoring if checked and published on timeInternal corporate reporting

Commercials:

Weekly Budget Report and Activity ReportingPeriod Invoices (creation, issue and payments)Period Finance Pack & PresentationCost Per Item analysis and updateBudget for new financial yearKPIs - yearly review / service variation and weekly / period monitoring + reporting

Administrative & Operational Processes:

Monitoring inbound process and putaway  Monitoring stockholding movements, including slow/non moving stock and item file maintenanceMonitoring despatch ProcessesMonitoring disposal ProcessQueries and Enquiries (types: Stock Reconciliation, Customer Care, Supply Chain, Carrier,  Suppliers, Disposal / Waste Legal, iForce Auctions, transport, internal operational and commercial)Monitoring QC InspectionAdditional Activities – reworks, QA reworks, end of line clearance and other referencesMonitoring Returns processes and ReSCU maintenanceService variation - Quotes, briefs and charges

Client Relationship:

 Daily callsWeekly & Period reviewsQuarterly ReviewsQA Team visits and requestsAd-hoc client & supplier visits

Product Line:

Upload of new linesUpload of old lines - update of prices, line locations, 2 Man flag and other parametersChanges to RTV agreementsSet up of QC inspection and maintenance of client set up on ReSCUProduct RECALL process

Team Management:

1-2-1s and Performance Reviews with Account ExecutiveTeam Objective Setting and ReviewTeam meetings and briefingsTeam support on suppliers issues and query resolutionAdmin / office processes - review, monitoring, changing if requiredManage team of wide spectrum of skillset and tasks to deliver service excellence

Projects:

Project work - tasks within projects (internal and external)System developments and testingOrganic growth - analysis of potential recovery options, coordination of new introduction of new suppliers inspections and rework processes

QualificationsPrevious experience in a similar role is essentialKnowledge of the logistics/warehousing industry including new client set up and go liveExcellent customer service skillsAbility to communicate with stakeholders of all levelsPrevious experience managing a teamStrong IT and administrative skills including the use of Excel and WMS to produce reports and data analysisCommercial acumenAbility to influence at a senior levelStrong communication skills both written and verbalStrong working knowledge of SMART and ReSCU
