Job Summary

IFF is looking for an energized Account Manager to become part of our NOAM consumer fragrance commercial team. In this role, you would be responsible for driving sustainable profitable sales and market share growth by identifying the customer needs and opportunities, leading the customer relationship, ensure financial targets are met and business performance is constantly monitored and reported, work in a collaborative team environment and promoting relevant solutions aligned with corporate strategy. This role is based in our Bellworks Creative Center in Holmdel, NJ and is a hybrid position.

Account Manager – Consumer Goods (Fragrance Focus)

Overview:
We’re looking for a passionate Account Manager with 5–7 years of experience in the consumer goods industry (fragrance, cosmetics, flavors, or ingredients). You’ll drive commercial strategy and product development by leading cross-functional projects, building strong customer relationships, and identifying growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Biology, Arts & Fashion)Experience in sales, marketing, product development, or technical rolesStrong communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsFinancial acumen (pricing, margin, forecasting)Proficient in PowerPoint and ExcelCustomer-centric with B2B experienceOlfactive skills and fragrance knowledge is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage complex projects across internal teams (Marketing, R&D, Creative, etc.)Identify market gaps and develop strategies to grow or defend businessBuild and execute account plans; maintain strong customer relationshipsPresent insights and solutions to customers and internal stakeholdersEnsure accurate sales forecasting and support operational planningTrack project progress, analyze outcomes, and report resultsTravel up to 20% as needed
