Job DescriptionPosition Purpose:
Drive significant revenue growth and exceed territory targets as an Account Manager within Veolia North America's hazardous waste business unit. You will be responsible for expanding our client base and strengthening existing relationships through strategic organic growth initiatives in your assigned territory.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
Client Retention & Strategic Partnership: Strengthen and secure base client relationships through proactive engagement, strategic Quarterly Business Reviews, and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality hazardous waste solutions and service excellence.New Business Acquisition: Actively prospect, identify, and engage potential clients within the territory. Effectively articulate Veolia's value proposition to win new, profitable clients.Sales Pipeline & Activity Management: Diligently utilize CRM (e.g., Salesforce) to manage sales pipeline, track all business development activities, log client interactions, and provide accurate forecasting.Integrated Solutions Selling: Collaborate proactively with Veolia's sister business units (Water, Energy, Waste) to identify and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities.Value-Based Proposals & Profitability: Analyze client needs and competitive landscapes to define a clear value wedge for each opportunity. Develop and deliver compelling, competitive proposals that secure profitable revenue and align with Veolia's financial objectives.Internal Collaboration: Leverage strong interpersonal and influencing skills to effectively communicate client needs and expectations to internal stakeholders (Operations, Customer Service, Technical Support, etc.), ensuring alignment and successful service delivery.QualificationsEducation / Experience / Background:
High School diploma or GED equivalent required.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferredPrior sales experience of 1 to 3 years in the hazardous waste industry preferredKnowledge / Skills / Abilities:
