Work as part of the agency service team to provide outstanding Account Management services to agency clients by utilizing knowledge of agency products, programs, and procedures. This position operates with more autonomy than our traditional Account Service Specialist role. The Account Manager will exercise additional judgement and discretion, often in the absence of the Producer(s).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Proactively service accounts in a strategic manner; schedule and attend in-person client meetings and account reviews.Provide timely and accurate information in response to client requests, including tail offer letters, locum tenens coverage, certificates of insurance and policy documents are handled in a timely and accurate manner and meet client expectations.Review policies and endorsements for accuracy before sending to clientsProcess policy changes (additions and deletions of members to groups, address changes, etc.) using standard agency proceduresReview client coverage regularly and recommend additional agency products when appropriate; meet established departmental and individual goals for cross selling/referral activity.Answer client coverage and risk management related questions or provide proper carrier resources when necessary.Follow-up for information requested from underwritersBack up for other members of the Sales Service Team for client calls when neededPartner with others in the Agency to work on special projects at request of Department ManagerLead and facilitate ongoing communication with other members of the assigned service team on individual accounts, ensuring proper dissemination of information through regular communication and documentation in agency management system.Training and development sufficient to possess intermediate to advanced knowledge of associated coverages and lines of business including Cyber and Management Liability.
