ICF is seeking a candidate with strong communication skills in the **Metro Detroit** area to **build and manage relationships** with developers, builders, building owners, and key community stakeholders aligned with energy efficiency products and services. You’ll design/implement program field outreach strategies and plans. This position requires **experience with energy efficiency and in-field inspections** . Other responsibilities include outreach in scheduling and communicating with stakeholders in the multifamily sector.  Working closely with the client and our nation-wide implementation team, you’ll **f** **ocus on bringing energy efficiency and bill savings to customers** including under-served communities, providing safer, more energy efficient homes, and ensuring energy grid stability in the greater Detroit area. Requirements are between 40% to 50% of the time. (reimbursement for mileage provided) **What We Need You To Have (minimum qualifications):** + Bachelor’s degree in (communications, business, energy, environmental, or related fields)(candidates can substitute one year of experience for each year of education) + 2+ years of related energy efficiency experience + Must have valid driver’s license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check. + BPI certification within six months of start date (if not already certified) **What We’d Like You To Have:** + Expertise in business management, sales, building science, energy resources, or energy policy + Experience in multifamily or commercial and industrial sectors + Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn ICF database/project tracking system + Industry certifications including, but not limited to: BPI, PMP, CEM, LEED + Professional affiliations including, but not limited to: BPI, RESNET, AESP, MEECA, MEEA, ACEEE, ASHRAE, or AEE + Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills + Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities + Experience managing junior staff + Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment **Working at ICF** ICF is a global advisory and technology services provider, but we’re not your typical consultants.
