Job Summary
The Account Management Specialist is a proactive and client-focused team member with experience in Direct-to-Employer (DTE) healthcare models. This position manages employer relationships, ensures successful product delivery, satisfaction, and ongoing performance of Prevea DTE healthcare programs. The position serves as a strategic advisor to HR and benefits leaders, helping employers maximize the value of their healthcare investment while developing and delivering strategic data analytics reviews.

What you will do

Client Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for employer clients, building strong and consultative partnerships.
Develop a deep understanding of each client’s workforce, healthcare needs, and benefit strategy.
Conduct regular check-ins, performance reviews, and strategic planning sessions with HR, benefits, and finance stakeholders.

 

Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Track and analyze key metrics such as employee engagement, utilization, cost savings, and clinical outcomes.
Develop custom reporting dashboards and presentations tailored to employer needs.
Translate data into actionable insights to drive program improvements and employer satisfaction.

 

Strategic Growth & Retention
Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts, including cross-sell and upsell of additional healthcare offerings.
Support contract renewals and work closely with sales and leadership to maintain long-term client relationships.
Provide input on pricing strategies and solution design based on client feedback and market trends.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with internal teams including clinical operations, marketing, product, and IT to ensure coordinated and consistent client delivery.
Communicate client feedback and evolving needs to internal stakeholders to support continuous improvement.
Help shape internal best practices, workflows, and tools for DTE account management.


Education Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field OR High School Diploma/GED + an additional 3 years of relevant work experience Required

 

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field Preferred

Experience Qualifications

1-3 years Experience in healthcare account management, client services, or healthcare operations. Required

Skills and Abilities

Proven ability to build and maintain consultative relationships with employer clients, acting as a strategic advisor.

 

Understanding of healthcare systems, terminology, insurance workflows, and payer/provider dynamics.

 

Ability to analyze and interpret healthcare metrics, create custom reports, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to both clients and internal stakeholders.

 

Ability to align employer goals with organizational objectives and develop strategies for account growth and retention.

 

Skilled at managing multiple accounts and priorities while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality outcomes.

 

Familiarity with CRM tools, analytics dashboards, and healthcare IT platforms such as EMRs/EHRs.

 

Strong analytical skills for resolving issues and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare environment.

 

Demonstrated ability to partner with diverse internal teams including clinical, IT, and operations to ensure client satisfaction.

 

Basic knowledge of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and compliance standards relevant to client-facing activities.
