**A Day in the Life**
The Account Growth Analytics role is a vital member of the Innovation & Operational Excellence team within the Strategic Accounts Accelerator (SAA). SAA is a commercial enabler tasked with driving durable profitable growth, maximizing Medtronic’s presence, and unlocking new opportunities in key accounts.
This role focuses on market opportunities and customer-driven growth, using data insights to shape strategic priorities for all the SAA commercial pillars. This role enables growth acceleration in SAA accounts by transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling strategic decision-making, fostering commercial innovation, and optimizing growth opportunities. By leveraging advanced analytical tools and methodologies, the position supports data-driven initiatives that enhance performance and unlock new market opportunities.
This role is ideal for a data-driven strategist with a passion for using analytics to solve complex business challenges, identify customer trends, and empower cross-functional teams with actionable insights.
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:**
+ **Transform Data into Strategic Insights:** Transform raw data into actionable insights that enhance strategic decision-making and foster commercial innovation. Produce data-driven insights to support SAA’s commercial enablement initiatives, enabling targeted strategies for revenue growth and market optimization
+ **Analyze Sales Data and Identify Opportunities:** Analyze SAA sales data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement, helping set actionable targets and optimize commercial strategies. Use advanced analytical models to create customer segments and profiles (i.e., detail account profiling and opportunity sizing), enabling more targeted commercial approaches
+ **Drive Revenue Growth and Identify Gaps:** Provide advanced analytical support to drive revenue growth by identifying market gaps, customer opportunities, and optimizing growth strategies. Collaborate with other enablers and functional teams to align data insights with commercial priorities and enable impactful execution
+ **Monitor and Evaluate Growth Initiatives:** Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SAA’s growth initiatives and campaigns in driving leads, conversions, and revenue. Provide strategic insights and recommendations for the continuous optimization of future campaigns based on quantitative and qualitative data
+ **Support Commercial Enablement:** Deliver insights to support SAA teams in identifying market opportunities, addressing revenue gaps, and refining commercial enablement tools and processes. Develop visualization tools, dashboards, and reports to ensure data insights are accessible and actionable for leadership and operational teams.
**Required Knowledge and Experience:**
+ 8+ years of experience in management consulting, analytics, data science, or business intelligence roles
+ Proficiency with advanced analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or R)
+ Strong ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
+ Experience with sales data analysis, segmentation models, and predictive analytics to support commercial initiatives
+ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to convey insights to stakeholders at all levels
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
+ Understanding of performance metrics and compliance standards in global organizations.
Preferred experience in the medical device, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industries. Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and commercial enablement tools. Background in developing customer segmentation models and evaluating marketing or sales campaigns. Background in supporting strategic initiatives through financial analysis and reporting. Master's degree in business analytics, data science, or related field.
