Now, we’re looking for a high-performing Account Executive to take ownership of our New Zealand territory and lead our continued growth across the public sector, commercial, and enterprise markets.

About the Role

As the Account Executive for New Zealand, you’ll be the face of WalkMe across the country. This strategic role is responsible for managing the full sales cycle across public sector, commercial, and enterprise accounts, driving both net-new acquisition and expansion opportunities.

You'll collaborate with our APAC teams across Sales Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and Alliances to deliver a value-based sales approach that resonates with NZ’s unique digital transformation needs. You’ll also work closely with SAP account teams and field leadership, engaging in joint go-to-market initiatives and co-selling motions to accelerate adoption across shared accounts.

This is a rare opportunity to represent a global leader in a greenfield, high-impact territory with significant growth potential—especially as we deepen our partnership with SAP and expand our joint value proposition.

What You’ll Own Full ownership of all WalkMe opportunities in New Zealand—across Government, Enterprise, and Commercial segments.
  End-to-end execution of the sales cycle: from prospecting and discovery to solution presentation, negotiation, and contract close.
  Drive both new logo acquisition and upsell/cross-sell within an established customer base.
  Build strategic account plans and execute multi-threaded engagement strategies across business and IT stakeholders.
  Partner closely with our Alliances & Channel ecosystem, including Global SIs, local partners, and resellers, to amplify reach and influence.
  Actively co-sell with SAP account executives and collaborate on joint pursuits, leveraging SAP’s scale and relationships to accelerate pipeline.
  Engage regularly with WalkMe BDRs, Customer Success Managers, and Sales Engineers to deliver a seamless customer journey.
  Maintain pipeline hygiene, forecast accuracy, and deal progression using Salesforce and Clari.
  Represent WalkMe’s value proposition with confidence to C-level executives, technical teams, and transformation leaders.
  What You’ll Need to Succeed 10+ years of success in Enterprise SaaS or Cloud software sales.
  Strong experience selling into New Zealand’s Public Sector and/or large enterprise organisations.
  Proven ability to drive complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, particularly with new-category or non-budgeted solutions.
  Familiarity with value-based sales methodologies (e.g. MEDDIC, BANT, etc).
  Experience partnering with Alliances/Channel and co-selling with technology vendors, ideally SAP.
  Strong commercial acumen, customer curiosity, and a track record of building executive-level trust.
  A data-driven and disciplined sales approach, with strong CRM hygiene and forecasting skills.
  Ability to travel within New Zealand as required.
