We currently have an opportunity for an Account Executive.

Job Purpose

We are seeking an Account Executive to manage a book of Premier Middle Market clients, processing daily account activity. 

Functions & Responsibilities:

Maintaining account folders in accordance with internal Quality Control guidelinesCheck policy coverages and endorsement on all new business and renewals for accuracy and relevanceComplete specs, prepare proposals, policy summaries and reviewsAbility to use various online rating systemsProcess endorsements, placement requests and invoicing: Credit, Debit, Monthly reportsReview policies for accuracy and adequacy of coverage, including rating calculationsAssist with Accounting department on research and justification of premium charges as compared with endorsements and invoicesHandle or refer insured’s and underwriter’s questionsPerform other specific duties as directed by the department manager &/or team leadsPursue a program of professional development

Qualifications:

Detail oriented with excellent communication skillsAbility to understand, analyze, and research different lines of insuranceGood typing skills and computer literacyAbility to work within designated time framesGood interpersonal skillsCollege degree or relevant work experienceP&C License required

Required Skills:

Strong computer skills; Excel & Word a mustHigh Net Worth carrier experience PreferredApplied Epic Experience PreferredRequired Experience: 3-5 years

The expected pay range for this position is $64,000 to $85,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and work location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA and 401(k) accounts, paid-time-off benefits, and commissions for some positions.
