Our Account Executive team - Emerging Markets is focused on bringing the DoorDash experience to communities across the U.S., especially those in fast-growing, underrepresented, or untapped emerging markets. This role leverages inside tactics to grow DoorDash’s presence in rural or developing territories, driving economic opportunity and accelerating local partnerships for one of the company’s top priorities.
About the RoleWe are looking for an Account Executive to join our expanding Inside Sales team. As an Account Executive – Emerging Markets, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing new SMB restaurant partners in new or lightly-penetrated geographies. You will own the complete sales process from start to finish while operating in a transactional deal cycle, leading the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals. In this role, you will creatively engage with prospects while achieving metrics. This is a high-impact, strategic role that sits at the intersection of sales, market expansion, and economic development.
You will report to the Inside Sales Manager and work cross-functionally with expansion, operations, and marketing teams to inform localized strategies for success. You will need the ability to travel as needed for in-person collaboration through training, offsites, team-building events, and other business-related necessities.

We’re excited about you because… You have at least 1+ years of closing experience in fast-paced outbound sales experience (closing deals within a few days).You have experience with fast-paced, short sales cycle (closing deals within a few days) You have demonstrated success in high-volume outreach environments You have strong skills in cold outreach techniques You have experience of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets You have interest in moving into outside/field sales in the future. You are an excellent communicator who adapts your style to diverse audiences, including small business owners.
