The team is responsible for the management and delivery of insurance due diligence for clients undertaking mergers, acquisitions, divestments, and project financing activities. The team also manages relationships with private equity firms and their portfolio companies, working collaboratively with colleagues in financial lines, property, casualty, workers’ compensation, and specialty teams to win new broking appointments and maintain the renewal book.
The role would suit a diligent team player who can demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills, is self-motivated, and can contribute to all aspects of client service and project delivery.
The Role
Assisting senior brokers with all aspects of the delivery of Due Diligence reports, including managing client information requests, report writing, premium calculations, and liaising with specialist brokers in financial lines, property, casualty, and workers' compensation. Engaging with transaction stakeholders (private equity firms, lawyers, investment banks) to develop relationships and coordinate the day-to-day delivery of projects. Reviewing documentation, including sale and purchase agreements, due diligence reports, insurance programs, and risk information, and producing reports and advice as requested. Delivering superior client service by being responsive and available to meet clients’ demands and timelines. Contributing to the overall achievement of the team’s annual new business target. Ensuring the accuracy and quality of the team's WIP and pipeline on a weekly basis. Tier 1 Insurance qualification, or a willingness to obtain oneExcellent administrative and support skillsExperience in an Account Executive, Account Broker, or Underwriting role, working with corporate and/or global clientsSound oral and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while keeping all stakeholders informed and maintaining a proactive approach in a dynamic environmentExcellent time management skills, with an awareness of the time-sensitive nature of advisory transactions, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyProficient in all Microsoft Office productsStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure, resolve conflicts, and negotiate effectively
