Centralized Marketing Unit – Account Executive
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process RFP submissions & marketing of new and renewal business necessary to maintain Client Insurance Program. Duties include but are not limited to:
Scrubbing intake forms for appropriate documentationPrepare case submissions (RFP) Create, complete or review marketing spreadsheetsAnalyze coverage comparisons and insurance quotesPrepare internal underwritings submission for renewal businessServe as the liaison between the service team and insurance carriersCollaborate with service team on developing a renewal timelineMaintain RFP/Marketing TimelineUpdate agency recordkeeping system with current policy informationTeamwork
Function as team member of the centralized marketing unit to ensure superior service to all MMA service team members and clients
These activities include but are not limited to:
Attend meetings with service team as appropriateAttend marketing meetings with insurance carriers as appropriateWork within centralized marketing unit on new and renewal submission completionWork within centralized marketing unit on market strategy for accountsWork with other marketing personnel on market strategiesCommunicate between carriers, service team, and producer as to the status of the marketing process and daily correspondenceWork on company relationships/communication as neededProvide a resource to producers/service team on market conditions or market availability and status of new and renewal proposals as neededTreat clients, prospects, and company employees with courtesy and respect.Contribute to a team approach toward meeting goals and providing excellent client service.Demonstrate cooperation and effective communication with clients, vendors and co-workers.Ability to service clients effectively through problem solving, confidentiality, diplomacy, sensitivity and tactfulnessTechnical Expertise
Demonstrate the technical expertise to assist in maintaining the Client Insurance Program. Duties include but are not limited to:
Analyze insurance quotes and make recommendations of terms and conditions for medical coverages in middle marketCommunicate and negotiate with insurance carriersUtilize carrier online rating programs as necessary.Understand the current insurance marketStay current on which companies are writing which industry classesMaintain and develop knowledge of policy forms and endorsementsIdentify and address any coverage gaps within the unitREQUIREMENTS:
