Account Executive

Our structure enables our teams to maintain their own unique, regional culture. We are currently looking for an Account Executive to join our Employee Benefits team.

Specific responsibilities include:

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clientsActing as a liaison with insurance carriers and as an advocate for clientsDesigning benefit plans in conjunction with client needs and financial resourcesProcessing renewals, including competitive marketing, providing cost effective plan design alternatives, and employee contribution scenariosPreparing spreadsheets and renewal presentationsPreparing summary plan descriptions and other employee communication materialsProviding clients with periodic financial reports to assess plans’ performance and use as a tool for renewal planningMaintaining and managing client information in Benefit PointMaintaining eligibility through insurance carrier portals

4 year college degree or equivalent work experienceAt least 3-5 years of experience in a brokerage, consulting, insurance company, or corporate benefits environmentValid Life and Health LicenseExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills and strong presentation skillsSuperb attention to detailAbility to manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline driven environmentProven ability to work independently and collaboratively with a teamProficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint,  and familiarity with virtual meeting platforms.Knowledge of COBRA, Level-funding, HSA, HRA, FSA, ACA, and ancillary lines including voluntary productsGeneral knowledge of Medicare

Department Account Management & Service

Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience

Required Travel: Negligible

Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
